I am extremely excited about this new magazine find, and cannot wait for my subscription to start (I’ve even asked for back issues). Seeing The Everyday . . . a beautiful magazine whose philosophy speaks to me both as mother and photographer – quite incredible for one publication. The magazine’s tag line . . . “finding poetry in the prosaic”. What first caught my attention was the explanation of “prosaics” by Gary Saul Morson. As a photographer, this is exactly what I look to capture and preserve. Those everyday moments that, when we are mindful and present, reveal an understated beauty that is to be celebrated.
